What is Pay with Amazon?

You can now buy directly on using the Pay with Amazon service that provides you with the ability to make payments for goods or services by using the payment methods already associated with your Amazon account. To make a payment, you can use a credit or debit card, or a netbanking account.

How do I sign up?

You'll be prompted automatically to sign up for an account when you make your first payment with Pay with Amazon. If you already have an Amazon account, you can sign into Pay with Amazon using your Amazon account information.

Am I protected when I use Pay with Amazon?

If there are unauthorised Pay with Amazon charges against your credit card or bank account, you can dispute the charge with us. Depending on how quickly you notify us about any unauthorized transactions, you might not be held responsible for those charges.

If you submit payment for a product or service and you do not receive the item, or it is materially different than advertised by the merchant, you can dispute the transaction and request reimbursement. Learn more about transaction disputes in the 100% Buyer Protection Guarantee.

Is my payment information shared with anyone?

We do not share your credit card, debit card or bank account information with third parties without your consent. You do not need to disclose your payment information to others when you use Pay with Amazon. Because your Pay with Amazon account is linked to your Amazon account, any changes you make to payment methods in your Pay with Amazon account will appear on your Amazon account (and vice versa).

What payment methods can be used with Pay with Amazon?

You can make a payment using credit cards, debit cards or netbanking accounts. Accepted cards include Visa, MasterCard credit and debit cards. We also accept payments made using Maestro debit cards. Learn more about adding payment methods to your account.

How do I change my account information?

You can change your phone number and add, edit or delete your credit or debit cards after you open a Pay with Amazon account. To do this, go the Pay with Amazon website, click the Your Account link and then click the link for the account detail that you wish to change.

How do I make a payment?

When you see that Pay with Amazon is an accepted payment method for a product or service you want to purchase, simply click the Buy button, enter your Amazon e-mail address and password, and then select your payment method. 

I'm having a problem with my account or with trying to complete a purchase using my account. What do I do?

We're sorry you are experiencing a problem with Pay with Amazon. Here are some steps you can try:

Please check that you are entering the e-mail address and password associated with your Amazon account correctly when you are trying to complete a purchase.

If you can enter your account e-mail address and password, but you cannot complete your purchase, please check that your payment method is set up correctly. You can do so by following the steps listed in our online Help topic Managing Your Account.

If your payment method is set up correctly, but you still cannot complete your purchase, please use the Contact Us form in Pay with Amazon.

If you cannot create an Amazon account or you do not have an Amazon account, please go to the Amazon website, click the "Help" link at the top-right corner, click the Contact us Button, click the Skip sign in button, and then follow the instructions on the page. You can contact us by e-mail, or you can request a phone call from Customer Service.
